We decided to go out to the Crown of Maine Balloon Festival last night for the balloon glow at dusk.  It was a chance to get out of the house and see something new.  This event has been going on for the last few years, however we haven’t made it out to any of the launches or the balloon glow.  Last year we did sight them floating along above the river, but last night was a chance to get right up close to the massive balloons.  Beagle Maximus (below) towered over the crowd and was a hit with the kids.
